Low Stanger Farm
Stable Cottage, as the name suggests, was converted into self-catering accommodation from our stables in 1988.
In order to take advantage of the views, we put the two bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor, and the living space and kitchen are on the first floor. There is also an additional toilet on the first floor, and a small utility area with washing machine and freezer on the ground floor.
Heating is currently by storage heater supplemented by an open fire in the open-plan living area. Hot water heating is by evacuated tube solar heating, with electrical back-up.
Fly fishing is available on the river Cocker where it runs through the farm.
